The Integrity Instruments RCE-1 allows the user to monitor contact status at one location, and send these signals to a remote location. There are two units supplied, a master unit and a slave unit. The system is bi-directional allowing contact status at the remote location to be sent back to the other end. Up to 8 inputs at each end can be sent as outputs to the other end. The uniqueness is that this is done over a single twisted pair of wires.

Digital I/O Port:DB25 Female connector, Mates directly to our EXP modules, Use our DB25TSM for screw terminals

Digital I/O: 16 digital I/O lines (two 8 bit ports), 8 Inputs and 8 Outputs at each end.

Digital I/O Current: I/O line source/sink 25 ma, Total current 200 ma for the 8 bit port

Digital I/O Voltage Levels: Input Off (0) = 0V - 0.8V, Input On (1) = 2.0V - 5.0V, Output Off (0) = 0.6V max., Output On (1) = 4.3V min.

Status Indicators: Bi colored led shows communications, status of master and slave units.

Communications: RS-485 (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit), 4000 feet maximum distance. Baud Rate:19,200, 57.6K, 115.2K BPS, DIP switch selectable

Update Speeds: 18.4 mili-seconds at 19,200, 11.5 mili-seconds at 57,600, 10.0 mili-seconds at 115,200

Operating Power: 7.5 Vdc to 24.0 Vdc, 50 ma nominal, 450 ma max.
